EASY CANDY CANE ICE CREAM CAKE

I know Christmas has come and gone, but this ice cream cake that I made for Christmas dinner was SO EASY and SO delicious that I had to share it! I did a poll on instagram asking my audience if they would like the recipe after Christmas and 100% of you said YES, plus everyone at Christmas dinner wanted it too, so here you have it!! I don’t have any awesome photos of the cake, just a quick snap of it in my kitchen, but it still looks so good right?! This cake would totally wow your friends at a New Year’s party or switch up the ice cream flavors and make it for a birthday!
Okay so here’s what I used:
- 1 container candy cane ice cream
- 1 container vanilla ice cream
- 1 package of candy cane oreos
- 2-3 candy canes
- smuckers chocolate fudge
- Magic shell chocolate
- Cheesecake pan
- Large ziplock bag
Leave the icecream out for 15 minutes or so to soften it up a bit. While your waiting take a large Ziploc bag and put all the Oreo’s in it. Use something to crush the Oreo’s. Once your ice cream has softened a bit, start layering it all into the cheesecake pan.
First I put a little layer of vanilla ice cream, then I put the Oreo’s and fudge. I then repeated this step one more time. Then I top it all off with a thick layer of the candy cane ice cream. Sprinkle the cake with the rest of the crushed Oreo’s and crushed candy canes. (I just used the same bag I crushed the Oreo’s in to crush the candy canes) Put in the freezer to set. Once it’s set, pop it out of the cheese cake pan and drizzle the magic shell chocolate over top and there you have it!! SO EASY, fast and everyone will love it!!!
